Powerful, compact, lightweight, and technologically advanced, PM 100SP is the top-of-the-range heavy crane series. The new, compact crane is lower and narrower in design. The use of high-strength materials has mean that thicknesses have been reduced, thereby lowering crane weight and increasing the truck bed’s usable residual capacity. The new octagonal section of the telescopic arms makes a higher load capacity possible. The unlimited rotation system is designed for intensive, highly repetitive use. The radio-controlled outriggers, with a 29 ft 10 in. (9100 mm) opening, are equipped with the MCS systems, which guarantees safety during the stabilization phase. Thanks to the type 5 interlock system, the crane’s load capacity is calculated electronically in relation to the outrigger arm extension. The standard crane is available with 4, 6, 8, or 9 extensions. The jib can be combined with the standard cranes with 4 or 6 extensions. The result is a maximum horizontal outreach of 110 ft. 1 in. (33.55 m) and a maximum vertical outreach of 122 ft. 6 in (37.35 m) More maneuvering control in confined spaces is provided by a negative angle of 15 ° on the secondary arm and 20 ° on the jib.
